Former Vice President of All American Marine Slip, Senior Vice President of Marine Office of America Corporation, Senior Vice President of Wm. H. McGee & Co., Inc., and Vice President of Fireman's Fund McGee Marine Underwriters. Author of Marine Cargo Insurance: Adjusting, Claims Administration, History, published by Witherbys Publication of London (2003). Experienced in creating and reorganizing claims units, developing and implementing claims systems, improving business processes and increasing productivity through technology. During the 10 years of his 28-year adjusting career, managed claims staffs of more than 50 adjusters, and was responsible for paid losses in excess of $200 million per year. Sailed for six years in the merchant marine, crossed the Pacific Ocean at least 40 times, and achieved the rank of Senior Third Mate. Graduated from Philippine Maritime Institute (Associate Degree in Nautical Science) and SUNY Maritime College (B.S Degree in Marine Transportation Management and Certificate in Advance Chartering). Beda A. Fajardo

  

Managing Partner, Fajardo Law Offices, Manila, Philippines. Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the New York Bar and the American Bar Association. Past President of the Philippine Maritime Law Association and the sole Filipino proctor member of the U. S. Maritime Law Association. He has practiced law for thirty years and wrote the summary of Philippine laws on maritime liens and claims in Tetley's book Maritime Liens and Claims, 2nd Edition (1998). Currently, member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc., co-chairman of the Maritime Law Committee, member of the ICC Philippines, Inc., and attorney member of the International Ship Suppliers Register of London. Finished his Bachelor of Arts and Law Degrees from the University of the Philippines, and took special studies at Harvard Law School and Tulane University.
